袁國勇:東滿樓出現垂直傳播同一座向住戶應撤離

深水埗大坑東邨東滿樓一家6口,確診感染Omicron變種病毒,住在患者樓上的一對母女亦都初步確診.政府專家顧問袁國勇懷疑,單位出現煙囪效應,引致垂直傳播,建議大廈1至11樓的14室住戶撤離.
袁國勇到場視察後指,首先確診的巴基斯坦裔婦人一家住在514室,廁所及廚房都裝有強力抽氣扇,而614室長期不關窗,不排除是帶病毒的空氣傳入上層單位.另外,由於病毒亦有可能是經喉管垂直傳播,因此建議當局撤離同一座向共11層的住戶.
