本港新增一宗猴痘確診個案

衛生防護中心正調查一宗猴痘確診個案,涉及一名過往健康良好的33歲男子.他於八月二十五日開始出現疲乏和局部皮疹,前日到衛生署粉嶺社會衛生科診所求診.病人情況穩定,已獲安排入住瑪嘉烈醫院.根據病人提供的資料,他於潛伏期內曾在本港有高風險接觸.
初步調查顯示,病人於潛伏期內沒有外遊.中心暫未發現個案與本港早前錄得的其他猴痘確診個案有流行病學關連.中心截至八月底錄得的41宗確診個案.
