調查發現八成基層中高齡人士有牙痛或蛀牙

有調查發現,八成受訪基層中高齡人士及七成殘疾人士,於過去一年有牙痛或蛀牙,超過七成基層中高齡市民及約六成殘疾人士,只能忍受牙痛或自行處理.
社區組織協會訪問了132名45至64歲的基層中高齡市民,及74位殘疾人士,超過六成基層中高齡市民及約一半殘疾人士表示未能負擔求診費用.
協會建議各區的康健中心應加入口腔檢查服務,同時為中高齡人士提供每年1000元牙科保健券.
