今年5月18日是周潤發「發哥」的68歲生日，「發嫂」陳薈蓮為發哥送上生日驚喜。發哥的驚喜生日會影片上傳至社交媒體後即獲熱議，片中的發哥滿頭白髮，但仍然精神抖擻，腰板筆直。問到他的生日願望，發哥說：「祝願大家最緊要身體健康！」
