中心:打風後泥土類鼻疽菌有機會曝露於地面

衞生防護中心表示,截至下午五時,沒錄得新增感染類鼻疽確診個案.
中心提醒市民,颱風或暴雨後,土壤和泥水中的類鼻疽菌有機會曝露於地面,並隨着強風或暴雨令類鼻疽病菌更容易散播,呼籲市民尤其是糖尿病患者或免疫力弱的人士,如出現病徵,應盡快求醫.
