本港增8579宗確診創近期新高 多9人不治

本港新增8,579宗新冠病毒確診,本地感染佔8,282宗,創近期新高.再多9名確診者不治,年齡介乎70至108歲,當中5人未打3劑疫苗.
有9間院舍出現個案,共70名院友須送往亞博檢疫.
衛生防護中心指,香港疫情轉趨嚴峻,正加速上升,預料確診數字可能很快會突破1萬宗,呼籲市民不要掉以輕心.
