加納首現馬爾堡病毒個案 2名患者死亡

西非國家加納首次出現馬爾堡病毒個案,兩名患者死亡.
加納南部月初有兩名患者出現發燒、腹瀉和嘔吐等症狀,送院後死亡,之後證實感染馬爾堡病毒,據報兩人之間並無關連,98名接觸者正隔離並接受醫學觀察.
這種病毒與伊波拉病毒相似,會引起出血熱,平均死亡率約5成,至今未有有效治療方法或疫苗.過往主要在非洲東部和南部出現,去年首次傳入西非的幾內亞.
