東京殘奧選手村出現首宗新冠病毒確診個案.
東京殘奧委說,新增16宗與殘奧有關的確診個案,其中一名患者是入住選手村的大會相關人士,令殘奧的感染個案累計增至74宗,至今未有選手確診.
殘奧會下星期二揭幕,因應日本疫情持續,在東京都及埼玉,千葉和靜岡三縣舉行的賽事,不會開放給觀眾入場.
日本的疫情持續擴大,47個都道府縣中,有40處達到最嚴重的疫情爆發擴大階段,專家估計有超過九成患者是感染Delta變種病毒.
