<p id="h-fodmap-fodmap-fermentable-oligosaccharides-disaccharides-monosaccharides-and-polyols-fodmap-miss-jc-fodmap-fodmap-fodmap-fodmap">番薯是高澱粉的食物，比較甜，進入腸道後會生產氣體，所以食番薯後容易放屁。高蛋白質的食物亦會生產較多氣體，而且味道較臭。飲汽水及食香口膠，同樣會令人更易放屁。另外，進食速度、是否因邊食邊說話而吸了很多氣，身體自然就要找方法「排氣」。而壓力大亦會影響腸胃功能，亦有可能會生產比較多氣體。<br></p>

<p id="h-fodmap-fodmap-fermentable-oligosaccharides-disaccharides-monosaccharides-and-polyols-fodmap-miss-jc-fodmap-fodmap-fodmap-fodmap">屁是體內廢物，如果不排出體外，可能會經由胃及食道，從口腔排出，導致口臭。</p>



<p id="h-fodmap-fodmap-fermentable-oligosaccharides-disaccharides-monosaccharides-and-polyols-fodmap-miss-jc-fodmap-fodmap-fodmap-fodmap">啹氣及放屁未必是同一種氣體，例如食得太飽，消化時產生的氣體，或胃內的氣體頂到神經，從而傳送信息至大腦，提醒大腦要排氣。因此啹氣亦是身體平衡及調節的系統之一。</p>

<p id="h-fodmap-fermentable-oligosaccharides-disaccharides-monosaccharides-and-polyols-fodmap-miss-jc-fodmap-fodmap-fodmap-fodmap">FODMAP 代表「發酵寡糖」（Fermentable Oligosaccharides）、「雙醣」（Disaccharides）、「單醣」（Monosaccharides）「和」（and）「多元醇」（Polyols），是引起消化問題的碳水化合物的總稱。<br><br>高FODMAP食物會令腸的水分增加，隨後跟腸內的細菌產生化學作用及產生氣體。</p>
