我們先由食道開始，不少食道的問題是胃酸倒流問題。根據統計，香港有4%的人有胃酸倒流，病徵上會覺得胸口有火燒的感覺，而胃酸本應於胃內，有胃黏膜保護胃部，但胃酸到達食道就失去保護，並會出現發炎狀態及有火燒心的情況。
